Angela and Kate... weren't ever close exactly. But friendly enough, apparently that she'd ended up with an invite, and she never turned down a party. Ever.

It was just a principle she lived by.

It all led to her presence at Kate's door today, carrying a couple of bottles of French booze. It felt like a good way to spend her first weekend back on US soil for a while.
