Room 324, Monday After Classes

There was something up with today.

Kate had been feeling antsy pretty much straight since waking up this morning, and hadn't been able to shake the feeling since. And that was weird, when Sunday had been such a good day after such a long stretch of bad days. She only tended to feel this restless when things were entirely messed up.

After her classes, she'd tried to do some of her independent course work, but had given up pretty soon after realizing her thoughts just kept straying to far more interesting things.

She was considering going downstairs to the gym and dancing, even if she hadn't been doing that for months now, because that usually helped with... whatever this was.

But before doing that, she'd happened to catch a glimpse of herself in the mirror on the wall, and so she was now staring intently into it, trying to determine what exactly it was about her appearance that seemed to make her look even better than usual.

"About you," she smirked at him, while her hand moved a little further up before her fingers curled into his shirt. "And very good things."

"What brought that on?" Bod asked, leaning back against the closed door and smirking. Any other day, that smirk might have been rare but today, he just felt like smirking. "What kinds of good things?"

"I don't know," Kate said innocently, shrugging a shoulder and leaning into him a little. "Just that kind of a day, I guess. We had a good day yesterday. I missed you this morning."

"I'm sorry I wasn't here," he said and shook his head at her, laughing. "You're not innocent, Kate. I know you're not. What kinds of non innocent things have you been thinking about?"

"I could be innocent," she claimed, with no particular energy put into making it sound believable. "I though about us. You and me. Things we haven't really been doing lately."

"That could be an assortment of things," he said, moving his fingers down the side of her neck and over her shoulder. "What things haven't we been doing?"

"Naked things," she told him in a low voice, teasing with a smirk. "Dirty naked things."

"You're right, we haven't done that in awhile," Bod agreed, blushing but ignoring it. "Does that mean you want to do that?"

"You're hot," Kate said. She thought that was an answer in itself. "I want to do a lot of things."

"Thank you," he said, unable to really hold back a blush despite how he was feeling about her and for her and in general. "Tell me what you want to do."

"I don't know if I really have specifics," she mused. "Or I mean, I have specifics, but they kinda get to just be this mess of... pressure, and friction, and skin and breath and mouths and hands and everything."

"It has been awhile," Bod said again, nodding and taking a slow breath. "I've missed you. I need you."

Today, he felt like he really needed her and wanted her and just...couldn't stop those urges.

It was a good day like that. Kate thought so at least. "I want you," she smirked up at him. "How much do you need me?"

"A lot," he answered, quietly and sincerely. "More than I need anything else. More than I need anyone else."

Kate looked happy and smug, at that. "Well, I guess you can have me, then. Since you need me so much."

Of course, she was seriously starting to feel like she needed him too.

"Are you my present?" Bod asked, running his finger from throat down the center of her shirt and towards her stomach. "Is that what you are?"

Kate snickered, but she sounded pleased. "Yes," she said, idly tugging on that bit of his shirt she'd grabbed a hold of earlier. "And I'm the best present there is."

[therewaslife]

"So, maybe I should unwrap you," he said, getting his fingers under the edge of her shirt and pulling it up. "Isn't that what one does to presents?"

"That's exactly what you're supposed to do to presents," she said, nodding mock solmenly. "For a guy not experienced with getting presents, you learn really quickly."

"I've been to a birthday or two since arriving here," he replied, getting a better hold of her shirt and now letting some of his urges slip into getting it off of her as quickly as he could.

At least Kate was going to be helpful. She let go of his shirt to raise her arms, so it'd be easier for him to pull the shirt over her head.

And if her bra happened to be a cute-but-hot black and pink number, well, she'd blame that on the weird feel of the morning.

"Learning by observation. Well done."

"Thank you," Bod said and couldn't really restrain himself from stepping forward and pressing his lips to all that pale skin of hers. Her neck seemed like a good place to start so that's where he was, kissing and licking all that bare skin.

Usually, he wouldn't just...take that much initiative but there was something that was pushing him towards it and making him feel like he wanted her more than he wanted anything else.

Kate made a slightly surprised, but appreciative noise. He didn't tend to be so forward in his actions, but it wasn't like she objected. She really didn't. She slid her fingers into his hair, because she wanted to touch him, and that was the easiest way for now.

"That feels good," she sighed. "Really good."

"It's supposed to feel good," Bod said, dragging his fingernails up her back and biting down on her neck just so it wouldn't get too soft and too lazy. He was far too charged up to take too much time in touching her.

Kate gasped, this time, feeling all that sharpness on her skin, and didn't really remember she'd meant to say something.

Instead, she had to give some of that back, so she reached down to slip her hands under his shirt and to press her nails into the skin of his lower back.
