"If he's like us, he shouldn't wake up," Bod said, taking his hand off the boy's head and folding his hands in his lap. "He'll be a heavy sleeper or, at least, he'll be able to fall back to sleep easily should he wake up."

He looked up at her and half smiled. "And he probably likes sweets quite a lot."
