They did look like they were enjoying themselves and Bod enjoyed watching the both of them look as happy as they (especially Kate, of course). He was standing off to the side, trying not to get in anyone's way while he drank some water.

Seeing them happy made him happy and he liked feeling carefree and content. There was no way he was going to sing but he was a great member of the audience.
