Crowne Plaza Hotel, Williamsburg, VA, Late Saturday Morning

There were no weird blocks hanging in the air here, no weird creatures running around, and no tails or ears appearing on anyone. The oddest thing was probably the teddy bear (Lennox Fitzherbert IV, as it'd by now been named) sitting on one of the bedside tables. So, all in all, it was a pretty damn normal hotel room. And that was the best thing for it to be, right now.

There was more exploring to do and adventures to have today, but not quite yet. It was still morning, and Kate was still pretty soundly asleep, curled up on her side, dreaming things that she wouldn't remember later on and that were already starting to slowly fade away.

"It'll be the first time in nearly four months," he said, trying to pull her on top of him now. "Do you think you still remember what we're like?"

"How could I forget?" she murmured, almost chiding, as she moved willingly where he wanted her to go. "We're amazing."

"We are," he agreed with a sigh as he lay back against the pillows. "You've just gotten older, you might have forgotten."

Four months was oh so long, after all.

"Did you just call me old?" Kate teased with a snicker, ducking down for another soft, quick kiss. "That should weaken your chances of getting any."

"I didn't call you old, I said you'd gotten older and it's true," Bod pointed out, mumbling against her lips. "You are four months older since the last time."

Kate nipped at his lower lip for that, and worried it between her teeth for a moment. "So are you," she retorted once she'd released it. "Do you think you remember what we are like?"

"I remember everything," he said, leaning up to try and catch another kiss. "Despite being older and hopefully wiser, I remember everything."

She pulled back just a bit for just a moment before granting him that kiss. Being a tease was an art. "Everything," she murmured, against his lips. "Name a detail."

"A detail?" Bod pretended to think about it and then decided to be a tease just like her. "Your middle name is Michelle."

Kate laughed, delighted even if she tried to look mock disapproving. "Not the kind of detail I was looking for but yes, yes it is.

"Well, I could have said you really like vanilla pudding," he pointed out, laughing. "Would that have been better?"

"No, because everyone and their garndmother knows that," Kate replied, before another kiss. "Keep trying."

"You really, really, really like the, uh, oral side of things," he said, feeling his cheeks flare up not because of the words but because of the thoughts.

"Good," Kate said approvingly, chuckling quietly at the blush. She kissed each of his cheeks. "I do. I really, really, really do. But I think that goes both ways."

"It does," he said and laughed. "It really does. Was that a good detail?"

"Perhaps not quite as precise a detail as I was originally thinking, but definitely a good one." And one that deserved a kiss that lingered a bit longer, making talking unnecessary until she had a few other words to say. "I remember everything too."

"Then, I thin it's your turn to name a detail," Bod told her, nodding. "Prove to me that you haven't gotten older."

"I remember," Kate started, with a tiny kiss, "that you mumble in Latin and Englsih when you start to lose control." Another kiss. "I remember that I can make you choke on air when I go down on you." Another. "I remember that you once made me name state capitals with your fingers inside me."

Just one detail wasn't enough. Call it being a showoff.

And Bod knew she was showing off too. She was just one to do that and right now, he kind of really liked it. Well, he liked it in the sense that he twitched a little against her and blushed again.

"I -- remember that too," he said with a sigh.

"As you should, because it was very, very memorable," Kate nodded, her nose rushing against his as she did. "Just like that time against the door. Oh, or that day in Colorado." She smirked. "That was an excellent day."

"You're doing this to me on purpose," he said, laughing a bit. "You're trying to wind me up and get me going."

"Was I not supposed to?" she wondered innocently as she shifted against him, just a bit. "Was I not supposed to talk about how you walked the line between torture and teasing until we were both sprawled on the bed all exhausted and spent? Is this another rule I didn't know about?"

"It's not a rule, it's merely an observation," he replied, smiling up at her. "You remember all of this like it was yesterday, it seems."

[vanillajello]

"I make a point of committing the good shit to memory," she stated with a brief smile of her own. "So I don't only remember the bad. And sex with you trumps all bad memories."

"And did you want to start making a new memory or two this morning?" Bod asked, reaching to slide his fingers down her arm lightly.
