Room 324, Sunday Afternoon

After some time spent in the crazy pony-filled common room, Kate retreated back into her own quarters to hang out. Apart from putting her ring on, she hadn't gotten any further dressed than she had been for breakfast. The shorts and flannel shirt combo was comfortable, and considering there were ponies running around, people could just deal with her legs if they happened to wander on by.

Wasn't like the ponies were wearing any clothes. She was trying not to think about that.

And she was pretty successful in that endeavor. After all, most of her focus was going into looking at stuff on her laptop. Namely, trying to find out what people were paying for barely used Vespas, and looking at holiday destinations where you might find a place to hang a hammock.

No reason, really.

"Fun and totally unexpected," Kate agreed, chuckling. "Which tends to make fun things even more fun. And apparently we don't need the island putting aphrodisiacs in the air to be like that."

Apparently, just talking about past jealousy worked too sometimes.

"I think I'm pretty well spent for the day," Bod said, reaching for her hand so he could kiss her knuckles. "Good thing I had little planned."

"Does cuddling sound like a good plan for the rest of the day?" Kate wondered, smiling at him. "'Cause it doesn't require much effort."

"Cuddling sounds like an excellent use of the rest of the day," he said, tugging her back towards her bed. "I haven't cuddled in awhile so yes, I'd like that."

"Good." She followed along easily, even giving him a few playful little shoves in the right direction with her free hand. "Because I don't want to get dressed further than this today. Yesterday was enough."

"I enjoy how you look right now," Bod assured her, dropping down onto her bed and scooting back until he was laying against her pillows. "You look relaxed and comfortable and...content."

"Happy," Kate supplied, crawling over him before settling down to sprawl over him instead. "And like I just had good sex. Those two kinda get mixed up a lot."

"Well, I'm glad I could make you happy with the good...that," Bod said, laughing and blushing all at once. "Shush, don't make fun of me."

Kate laughed quietly, nuzzling his chest. "That'll never get old, I swear to God. You never fail to be so you about that."

"Shhh." Bod got one of his arms around her and settled against her, sighing. "I can only be me so yes, I probably will always be like that."

"And that's fine with me," Kate sighed, sounding content as she closed her eyes. "I like it."

"I do too," Bod murmured, settling down and stilling. "I do too."

Kate didn't feel the need to reply to that anymore. He knew how she felt, about him and his blushing and everything. She could just focus on his warmth now, and his arm around her, and his heartbeat in one of her ears.

She sighed again and smiled to herself. It was one of those better days.
