vanillajello | OOC: Oh look an infopost.

So I didn’t app anyone new this time around, either. We'll see about a townie once the new term starts and I actually get a sense of how much time and effort RL school work will require. In the meantime, I present to you a collection of random bullet points about everyone's favorite daughter of a woman with multiple personalities.

Kate Gregson, from United States of Tara

- Postcanon until new canon arrives. (S2 is set to start in March, wheee!)
- Junior and 16 years old.
- Lives in room 324 with Bobby Drake.
- Will snark at you.

Appearance and immediate surroundings

- Is 5'7" and slim. Skinny, even. Brown eyes and shoulder-length blonde hair that she wears straight and down unless otherwise specified.
- Sometimes has two blue streaks in her hair. They come and go, mostly depending on whether people decide to mention them. It works 'cause they're extensions, anyway. Sometimes she bothers with them, sometimes she doesn't.
- Wears a lot of grey and black, but almost always paired with pink or purple or blue. Loves skull-print fabrics.
- With different style clothes and different make-up, could easily pass for a 20-year-old ~~because that's how old the actress is~~.
- Is almost always wearing a necklace with a black rectangular pendant with a white skull and bones on it. She's usually wearing other necklaces with it.
- Usually has a small, monkey-shaped backpack attached to her schoolbag. I never ever remember to mention this. But look, it's in this entry's icon!
- The wall on her side of the dorm room is practically covered with pictures and bits of paper and drawings and flyers and whatever.
- Always has music playing when she's alone in her room, unless specifically stated that it's quiet. The girl likes her noise.

Relationships

- Treats Bobby as her little brother.
- Is very close to Leto Atreides. Will probably not tell you about this unless you really need to know for some reason. Mind readers and empaths are free to pick up on this when she mentions him, though.
- Is not quite yet at the point where she'll realize Jason Stackhouse is a person who might end up needing to know the above.
- Likes, trusts and respects Mitchell more than any other adult-type person on the island. You can totally tell by the way she told him to fuck off once. ...Yeah, the teacher - student thing turned into more of a big brother - little sister type of deal pretty fast.

Miscellanious

- Thinks the third floor is the awesomest of all. (There really should be another party to celebrate it.)
- Will be handing out chocolate coins to all new third floor kids again.
- Can't buy coffee at the Perk. Luckily she also loves their hot chocolate, and they're not refusing to sell her that. Yet.
- Doesn't drink tea anymore. She's tried to, but it just turns her stomach nowadays.
- Still not talking about her mother’s DID much. (And despite what I think it says in the original infopost, Kate does know about the fourth alter, but has never met her/it, and really, really doesn't want to talk about it because it's too weird even for her.)
- Practices ballet ~~mostly handwavily~~ in the dorm gym once or twice a week.
- Goes to Fast Eddie's ~~equally handwavily~~ to play Dance Dance Revolution semi-regularly.
