Room 324, Monday After Classes
Apparently, going to high school classes was hard work.
Or Kate and her kids shared a gene for being lazy.
Either way, after Japanese Etiquette and Tradition, they'd headed back to Kate's room. Now, Dani was sprawled on the floor with a stack of his mother's kid-friendliest manga, and Vivienne had claimed the laptop for important research. Or so she said.
And Kate was keeping up a conversation, being all sneaky about finding out more about the way things worked were the kids were from. Not really asking questions, but kind of nudging the kids towards the subjects she was curious about.
She was pretty sure that Vivienne was on to her, and that Dani was barely listening. But, whatever. They had a big bag of candy. All was good.
[ooc: Open door, open post! Can't we keep the kids forever?]

Still, that didn't mean he couldn't take a trip two floors down and check on someone who did have children. If he would have been thinking, he would have brought food with him. As it was, he didn't and was left knocking on the door frame quietly and smiling in.

Dani, on the floor, opened his mouth to say something, but Kate, who was sitting on the bed, shot him a look, and he muttered "Nevermind, and went back to his reading.
"Hi," Kate smiled back at Bod, then.
"Hello," said Vivienne from the chair by the desk, eyeing the new arrival. "Who are you?"
no subject
"I'm just Bod," he said, staying where he was because this was a little...well, he didn't quite have the word. "I live upstairs. I was just stopping by to say hullo. So. Hullo."
Right.

"He's the guy who talks funny," Dani informed her.
"The knight?"
"Not the knight, the knight was cool. The boyfriend."
And now Vivienne was kind of squinting at Bod, rather thoughtful. Meanwhile, Kate shook her head. "Kids, stop it. Yes, Bod, there was another one."

He took a breath, fairly certain he'd gotten most of their questions decently answered. "So, you've had a busy weekend. Lucky you."

Dani, of course, had gone back to ignoring them all.
"Luckily it turns out I'm good at parenting with candy, though," she remarked, holding out the bag in his general direction. "Want some?"
Not that he was being lured into the room or anything.

"Mommy has a point," Vivienne remarked, finally turning around to pay attention to the computer instead of them.

"Oh!" she exclaimed, upon seeing people here. "...Hello?" she added, a bit guardedly.

Vivienne gave him a look, and made sure to sound very polite as she greeted the other girl back. "Hello."
And Kate offered a smile and a "Hi, you're Bobby's, right?"

Vivienne didn't seem quite as surprised. "Mommy says I might get a cousin with two daddies someday."
