Room 324, Monday After 4th Period
Yeah, so, Kate had had a weird, unsettling feeling since getting back on the island on Sunday. And now? Bobby and a bunch of other people had gotten themselves fucking kidnapped. And something was... growing, on the island, which she supposed might have been a little better than when things had just been disappearing into nothingness, but honestly, she didn't care. Weirdness was weirdness, and she didn't want it.
It was a direct consequence of this that Kate now had a portal to Kansas scheduled to leave in an hour, and was packing rather frantically, just shoving things into her backpack seemingly at random.
She just couldn't stay. She couldn't.
[ooc: Open door and open post, in case you want to catch the (slightly freaked out) girl before she flees from the BDE.]

"...Kate?" he asked carefully.

"I don't understand what you want me to do," Bod finally said. "You didn't like my choice, you derided it and then you got upset when I tried to avoid an argument. Do you want to fight with me?"

"No, I just want to do something that isn't just fucking panicking."

Maybe this was a little bit of rationality coming through. Maybe.

"Fine," he said and glared at her. "Yell at me. If you want to do it so badly, go."

"What would make it enough?" Bod asked, trying one last calm in a decidedly calm voice all things considered.

Bod...couldn't really compete with that. Even his tone sounded defeated and his shoulders slouched.
"Goodbye, Kate."
With that, he turned on his heel and headed down the hall. If she didn't care, he wasn't going to give her more to not care about.

Of course, that only meant she ended up poking her head out the door and yelling down the hallway at his back. "Just so you know, if you get yourself killed there's not a graveyard in the fucking multiverse that's gonna keep you safe from how pissed off I'll be!"
And then she slammed her door shut. Might as well spend the rest of her time on-island leaning against the damn thing.
