Room 324, Sunday Morning

Uncharacteristically, Kate was awake first. Not that that meant much: it wasn't like she'd moved yet or anything. Why would she have, when she was all wrapped up in blankets with Bod and could just enjoy his body heat and his familiar smell and feel all right there, close to her?

... Well, actually, she could think of a reason. It just came to her, suddenly, something they'd talked about, something she'd put some thought into later. She was warm and happy and it seemed like as good a time as any, probably for those very reasons.

Trying to move as slowly and smoothly as she could, so as not to wake Bod up yet if she didn't have to, she reached to fumble the drawer of her bedside table open for a notebook she knew she had there.

"Yes, you do," he said and laughed. "And I'm glad for that. So, there's a few things you make me feel. I hope you liked them."

"I loved hearing them," she assured him, flopping down onto her back again. "I make you feel good stuff, of course I liked them."

"You do make me feel good," Bod said, draping an arm and a leg across her and moving closer to share her pillow. "Did you wake up early to do all this for me?"

"Not really," Kate replied as she turned her head more towards him. "I just woke up early, then got inspired to do this instead of trying to fall asleep again."

"So, I guess that means I don't have to lull you back to sleep, then," Bod said, smiling at her. "I was already making plans for that in case you needed it. But now, you can stay awake with me."

"I am wide awake," Kate assured him. "Sleeping with you was fun, but right now it's even more fun to actually be consciously aware you're here with me."

"So, what should we do instead?" Bod asked, rubbing a thumb up and down her side and smiling. "Should we have a quiet little chat about books?"

"Only if you want it to be really quiet," Kate teased. "'Cause I would pretty much have nothing to say."

"Perhaps that can wait then," he said and moved closer to nuzzle his nose against her cheek and neck. "What would you like to do?"

Kate sighed and put her hand on his arm. "Well, I think we had a pretty good idea going last night..."

"What, when we were sleeping?" Bod checked even if he knew what that wasn't quite the thing she was talking about. "I did like that too."

Kate snickered. "Yes, it was nice, as we've established, but we've also established that's not happening again now. No, I was more thinking about stuff before the sleeping."

"Oooooh," Bod said like it finally dawned on him. "You'd like to be naughty in the morning? Do I have it right?"

This time, it was more of an outright laugh, and she turned her head towards him again. "Those are probably not the words I would've used, but you're definitely getting the right idea, boyfriend."

"Oh?" Bod asked, pressing his lips to her cheek now and smiling against her skin. "What words would you have used?"

"To fuck you in the morning," she obliged in a murmur. "To be fucked by you. Possibly even to engage in languorous lovemaking with you, though that would've obviously had to have been mildly sarcastic 'cause it's not really my style otherwise."

"I'm fairly certain all three can be accomplished, mild sarcasm aside," he whispered, dipping his head down to kiss her shoulder and upper arm. "Your words are far better than mine in this instance."

"Sometimes that happens," she sighed. "Naughty was good too but I bring the precision. Of course, I could've just skipped words altogether and climbed on top of you, I'm sure you would've taken the hint. But words are more fun."

"You could still climb on top of me if you'd like to have the best of both worlds," Bod suggested, giving her shoulder another lingering kiss. "I would still take the hint."

"You already have the hint," Kate teased, quietly. "You have more than a hint. You have my words ringing in your ears. Do you really need more?"

She was pretty sure he'd say yes. And that she'd gladly give him more.

"I really need more," Bod said predictably and licked the curve of her shoulder now. "I think I really do."

Kate moved to turn onto her side, for now, facing him. "More what?" She was a giant tease. This was no surprise.

"I really need more hints," Bod clarified, laughing. "While I'm very sure of what you'd like us to do, I'd still love to hear further clarification of the fact however you'd like to tell me."

"I don't know if I have any specifics," she said lazily, bringing a hand to his shoulder to push him onto his back. "I do know I want further proof that we really don't need a linen closet or a changing room to be incredibly hot."

Bod laughed and rolled easily onto his back, resting his hands on his chest.

"Though, both of those places were incredibly hot in their own right," he said as he waited for her to climb on top of him. "We really don't need anything but each other to be incredibly hot."
