Overland Park, KS, Friday Morning (September)

Six plus six was twelve, and twelve was the same as one, if you were talking about months first and then switched to years. The bottom line was, Kate and Bod had now been an item for a whole year in total. (There really was no need to talk about that four month gap between the first and second six month stretches. Because that was just a really fucking depressing topic all around.) And that was a huge fucking deal.

Enough of a huge fucking deal for it to be the first thing Kate become conscious of as she woke up this morning, all warm and tangled up with Bod, in their bed, in their room, just like they had been every night for the past week or so. That alone would've made her happy, but remembering the anniversary made her doubly so.

So, as much as it saddened her to do it, she tried slowly disentangling herself from her pale, pale boyfriend, so she'd be able to slip out of bed in her panda-print tunic. There was something she wanted to get from downstairs.

"Excellent." Kate was all about positive reinforcement. She padded back over to the bed. "I would like to take this moment to tell you you look really hot, by the way."

"Thank you," he said, feeling himself blush as per usual. "You look beautiful as well."

"Thank you." She didn't blush, but her smile was softer for a moment. Just briefly, before the smirk came back. "Now. Would you like to do math?"

She wasn't going to state things straightforwardly if she didn't have to.

"I...suppose we can do math if that's what you'd like to do?" Bod asked, slightly confused. "Math is just fine with me, of course."

He had no idea what she was going towards, no.

"Good," Kate replied, resisting the urge to laugh. "See, what I would like to do here is turn two into sixtynine."

She wasn't convinced even that would ring any bells, but that didn't matter, he'd get it soon enough.

Bod's brow furrowed because he was actually thinking about it mathematically. "I don't know if you can without adding additional numbers. Two's an even number and sixty nine is an odd so they don't add up."

It was not ringing bells for Bod, no.

This time, Kate did chuckle a bit. He was adorable in his cluelessness. "It's not actual math," she explained, getting one knee on the bed. "But you know how when you write a six and a nine side by side, they look like they kinda fit together?"

"Yes," he said slowly, really trying to clue into what she was pushing him towards. "You want...to find something that matches up like that with the number two?"

"No," Kate snorted, as she got on the bed, kneeling beside him for the moment. She gestured at herself, then at him. "We're the two. One, two."

"And what do we do as the two?" he asked, squinting at her. "And what does it have to do with the number sixty nine?"

"Well, you know what I said about the numbers fitting together, right?" Kate asked. "I mean, they're the same but one's upside down and -- Actually, yeah, maybe I'll just demonstrate."

Because they were going to be here all day in a non-fun way if she tried to hold on too stubbornly to her math euphemisms.

"It's a position," she said, as she was climbing over him, but not the way he might've expected. What with facing towards his feet and all. "Something potentially fun we haven't tried yet."

"You're...facing towards my feet," Bod pointed out though he did try and reach up to stroke her back. "This is a strange position."

He didn't quite get it yet.

Kate was getting that, snickering quietly. "It's not strange once you get what I'm going for, and it's not really your feet I'm facing," she teased him as she was readjusting her position, legs on either side of his shoulders, hands on either side of his hips. "Mutual oral, Bod."

"Mutual -- " Oooooh. All right, now he was seeing what she was getting at. "That's...comfortable for you? That position won't bother you at all, where you are?"

"You are the world's most considerate lover, Bod," Kate replied with gentle amusement. She ducked down briefly to press a kiss to his thigh. "I'm athletic, these days, in case you haven't noticed. But I'll tell you if I get uncomfortable, I promise."

"And I just...reciprocate, right?" Bod asked, just to make sure he wasn't going to do anything wrong. "Do what I've done before just in a different position?"

[vanillajello]

"Yeah." In a slightly different situation she would've probably been hugging him right now. She just found that kind of adorable. "Do what you're good at. Work your magic."

[therewaslife]

"All right," he said, rubbing the side of one of her legs just to let her know he understood. "I think I can do this just fine then. I just didn't want to make a mess of things."

"You wouldn't," she murmured, kissing his hip lightly, this time. "You'll just bring me pleasure."

'I will do my best to do that," he said, smiling even if she couldn't see it. "You're so lovely, Kate. So lovely."

[vanillajello]

"I shouldn't even be surprised you're telling me that with a clear view between my legs." She turned the kiss into a little lick, over his hipbone. "Not at all surprised."

"I'd be telling you that if I was looking at your face too," he assured her, turning his head to lick the inside of her thigh. "You know I would."

Kate shivered. It was a very pleasant feeling. "But you've also confessed to loving my boobs," she murmured, with a little lick a little more towards the center. "Bet you think other body parts are specifically lovely as well."

[therewaslife]

"You might be right, yes," he said, right before leaning up to breathe over one of those very sensitive and very loved body parts of hers. "Perhaps you're right."

Oh, that felt nice. And the fun here was that she could reciprocate immediately. She could breathe warm breath over some of his more sensitive skin, too.

"Of course I'm right."
