Room 324, Late Thursday Morning
"-- So then what? ...Oh, oh, like in that movie? You know. ...What do you mean, you don't? We watched it like three times in a row last spring when I had the-- Yes. That one. With the guy with the hair and the--"
Back in Overland Park, T was out, for some reason or other.
It meant that here in Fandom, Kate was sprawled on her bed with her phone clamped to her ear, getting updated on the stupid things morning television had to offer, and the things T would've liked to do later in the day if she wouldn't have been likely to be too lazy and too high to leave the house.

There were worse ways to spend a morning.

Instead, he scaled his kiss back a little, less eager, more lazy and probably easier to get a breath or two in a minute if he wasn't all the way keyed up. Still didn't pull away though. Couldn't just quit on a dime like that.

Her fingers were in his hair again, but it was more idle than teasing.

So, yes, Bod didn't want to pass out. He didn't want to stop kissing her either but he knew he had to so he eventually did pull away so he could get some breaths and try and banish the pink tinge that'd popped up on his cheeks.

Then she broke the silence, saying, "... Well."

"Nice."
... Unlike Kate's conversational skills at this very moment.

Well, he wasn't doing any better.
"Yes."

"I do like looking at you though," he said, nodding. "So, I can keep doing that."

Bod trailed off and laughed.
"Nice."
Understatement.

Kate snickered. "Go before I pull you back in. I should probably call T back, anyway. See if she's still around, and whether she's developed any new delusions."
