Room 324, Saturday Morning
Kate had... kind of intended to spend the night alone. That had been the original plan, at least, before a miniature freakout and being a fabulous fake and having to stand the sight of Caroline and ugh. Yet another plan of Kate's that had not gone quite as she'd originally thought it would.
She'd figure out how she felt about that later, maybe. Because right now she was still asleep, clinging to Nathan with an arm and a leg over him, pressed close against him despite the blankets spread over them. That was just her thing, minor neediness slipping out when she wasn't conscious enough to control it. It was a lot like another morning a month or so ago, probably, except they were presently decidedly more lacking in clothes and knew each other better in whole new ways.
And Fandom was being Fandom again, but that was not for them to know yet. They'd find out soon enough.
[ooc: Just for that one guy, and for that other smaller guy who'll cause a whole lot of emo despite being adorbs, and then probably that third guy with some more emo.]

Especially since she hadn't been alone. Bod's heart ached at that and he had to rub it to try and get the pain to ease.

There was the sound of the shower from the bathroom.
"Aw, now she's gonna take forever to come out again!"
no subject
"I'm sure she knows you're out here so she won't take too long," Bod said, smiling down at him. "She wouldn't want to miss spending time with you. She's really the absolute best person to have a mother, Dorian, so don't doubt her."

You could tell just how forever by how much he drew those words out. He flopped down on his side, reaching for Bod's hand. "And Alice says thas because girls need to pretty up."

Big surprise.

As if he was going to be able to say Shoshana, please.

"'M not sleepy," he murmured, eyes closed. "'M not."
Yeah, and how many times had Bod heard that before?

The local version of whom was still doing stuff in the bathroom, in no way hiding out.

Of course, now things might get REALLY awkward but Bod was trying to prepare himself.

She hadn't really planned her little bathroom trip, so she hadn't thought to grab a shirt to change to. But at least now she'd tucked the hem under her skirt and rolled the sleeves up so that it looked a lot more like a quirky fashion thing and less like she'd just grabbed someone else's shirt by accident.
Though it was still someone else's shirt. She felt somewhat sorry about that, but didn't want to feel sorry about it because she still thought some of the flowers had been from Bod and her feelings had been stung by that. Which was also something she didn't want to be feeling, but anyway.
She avoided looking at him, choosing to fix her gaze on Dorian instead. She looked almost a little disappointed to find the boy asleep, and she didn't say anything.
Awkwaaard.

"He thought you'd take awhile in the shower," he explained, rubbing one of his eyes. "He was telling me about things Alice and Shawna say."
no subject
"Shawna?" Kate wondered a little flatly, not because she wasn't interested but because she really, really didn't know how to act or what to sound like around him. She took a few steps closer, eyes on their son – as messed up as it was to think of the boy as such. "Think that means Shoshana?"

Dorian was adorable though, and coming closer she reached to gently stroke the boy's hair a few times. "He can sleep. He'll probably be here at least through the weekend, anyway."
no subject
At least he managed not to sound too bitter or too sad. "Seems like it was a long night. You probably needed the sleep just as much as he currently does."
no subject
Technically, she supposed that counted as outing Mitchell, but then he'd told her she could tell Bod if she wanted to. Before.
no subject
He was still alive, after all. "Just the important ones."
no subject
"You know what I meant," she said, mildly, instead.
no subject
That was a little sarcastic and he closed his eyes and shook his head. "I apologize. I'm just overwhelmed right now."
