Room 324, Late Thursday Morning
"-- So then what? ...Oh, oh, like in that movie? You know. ...What do you mean, you don't? We watched it like three times in a row last spring when I had the-- Yes. That one. With the guy with the hair and the--"
Back in Overland Park, T was out, for some reason or other.
It meant that here in Fandom, Kate was sprawled on her bed with her phone clamped to her ear, getting updated on the stupid things morning television had to offer, and the things T would've liked to do later in the day if she wouldn't have been likely to be too lazy and too high to leave the house.
Kate was snickering a lot. "... Eww, T, that's disgusting."
There were worse ways to spend a morning.
[ooc: Door half-open, post completely so, do feel free to interrupt. No one's doing anything even remotely useful. Myself included.]

... While sneakily trying to curl her leg around his in a way that would make it just a little harder for him to leave.
no subject
Unnecessary, of course, but he wasn't really trying to leave either. He was more trying to surprise her and give himself the advantageous position.

Kate let out a little laugh of surprise at being kind of under him this suddenly. "Not sure this is going to work." Especially not if she was going to try and tangle one of her arms with one of his, too.

While trying to look sceptical. The grin was a little hard to suppress. "Mmm, I'm not convinced. Maybe you should try harder."
no subject
Which he was going to use right about now, yes. He'd thought about tickling but, instead, was just going to lightly rest his hand against the side of her stomach, fingers brushing back and forth.
It wasn't much but hey, distraction. He raised his eyebrows at her.
no subject
And raised a single eyebrow back at him, without saying anything.
no subject
Still wasn't planning on going anywhere, mind you.
no subject
While running her free hand up along his arm and curling it around his shoulder. Yes.
"Also? You felt nothing."
no subject
Not that he was trying to move away or untangle himself or anything that would help him leave. What would be the fun in that? Instead, he curled his hand a little tighter against her side, no longer as light as it had been.
"I did feel something," he retorted, nodding. "You didn't hide that reaction."
no subject
Things that were also about the same level of nothingness included the slight shift at the added pressure – by no means away from his hand, quite the contrary – and her fingers rubbing his shoulder.

"I'm sure I'd listen to you." In this case, probably not. Too busy moving his fingers against her side to think about really leaving, you see.
no subject
Instead, she turned her hand to press her palm against his neck, her fingertips caressing his skin as she smirked up at him. "You should be able to take a hint without me having to explicitly tell you."
no subject
"I wouldn't want to get the wrong idea," he added, nodding. "You should tell me to leave, if that's what you really want."
no subject
It was about the least secret secret she could think of right now.

"As much as it pains me to admit it."
